Who we are as a company…
The donkey symbolizes a few different outstanding meanings. 1) Samson killed a 1,000 enemy combatants with the jawbone of a donkey. 2) In the Book of Numbers in the Bible, in chapter 22, and specifically verses 22-35 we can read the story of the “talking donkey”. Where Balaam, a man of God did not see the Angel of the Lord standing in the pathway, but the donkey most certainly did. 3) The donkey has a cross on its back, which is my favorite feature by far. To me, it represents that the donkey carries its cross daily. A great reminder to us as men that we ought to be like the donkey, and pick up our crosses, and carry them everyday! And 4) last but not least, in fact my favorite symbol of the donkey. Out of all things Christ could’ve rode into Jerusalem, He chose a donkey of all things. The donkey carried the Truth, The Way, and The Life right on into the Holy City. Amen!
I think that’s a good brief description that pretty much sums up just who we are as a company. I made Jesus Christ Lord over my life when I was 14 years old. 20 years later in 2024, I have made The Lord CEO over my very 1st business. Welcome to Samson Sewing Co!
